Biography

Advisor:



Dr. Richard Primerano received his Ph.D. from Drexel University in 2010. The focus of his Ph.D. research was the use of ultrasonic signaling for communication through metallic barriers. This remains an active research area of his. Other current research interests include the design and implementation of mobile robotics devices, especially those that draw on biology, and radio frequency scene analysis within highly reverberant environments.










Group Members

Joey Zia, from Clarksville, Maryland, is a freshman at Drexel University studying Computer Engineering. In Maryland, he has had the opportunity to be a mentee of Engineers in the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory and enjoyed every part of the experience. He loves to play video games, especially real-time strategy games like StarCraft 2 and alongside video games, really likes to play the violin and the piano. When he doesn’t feel like working or playing video games, he just pulls out the violin and practices whatever first comes to mind.

Stephan Tang, from Royersford, Pennsylvania, is a freshman at Drexel University studying Engineering. He enjoys physical activities such as weight lifting and running, especially. He has a competent understanding of computers and related parts. He has work experience in the food service business.

Josh Yan, from Paoli, Pennsylvania, is a freshman at Drexel University studying Engineering. He enjoys working with his hands and building and creating things, whether it be a K'Nex bridge for engineering lab or a 6'4" wooden cross for a church skit. His hobbies include lifting weights, collecting ties, singing, and watching TV shows. His favorite show is the BBC series Doctor Who, and he is also a fan of Game of Thrones, Suits, and The Walking Dead. Although he has recently cut back on video
games, he is also a huge fan of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Minecraft.
